Depuy Hip Litigation Center

  • In August, 2010, DePuy Orthopedics, Inc., a Johnson & Johnson company, recalled its ASR model hip implants. The recall affects some 93,000 patients who received DePuy hip implants beginning in July 2003.

  • Indications of DePuy hip implant failure include: component loosening, component misalignment, infection, fracture of the bone, dislocation, metal sensitivity, inflammation, swelling, popping/grinding sounds and pain.

  • DePuy’s metal-on-metal design generates dangerously elevated levels of cobalt and chromium which may cause blindness, convulsions, deafness, depression and heart problems. Please consult your physician for blood testing.

  • The attorneys at Herren & Adams have over 50 years combined experience in products liability/personal injury law practice and are highly-rated by Best Lawyers®, Super Lawyers® and Martindale-Hubbell®.
